I’m baaacckkk!

Standard
I know I have been gone for a bit but I am back. I have been working on some fun projects….some using new products which will be available in just 9 short days….and some using products that will be gone in just 9 short days.

Today’s post is of a retiring stamp that I used for my Father’s Day card for my husband. He is a golfer—-and like most golfers, he doesn’t care so much about anything else–just golf! So, when I set out to make him a card, I naturally went to the On the Green (# 117139, $9.95) stamp. This is an “A La Carte” stamp and, therefore, very reasonable. It is the stamp I use for every occassion for my husband because, as i said, he loves golf. I had to change it up a bit here because I wanted  the focus to be a larger image than the actual stamp.

In order to to that and make the image  straight, I needed to use my StampAMaJig. I know what you are thinking—but he is worth it!  Sometimes you just gotta pull out that StampAMaJig.   It is always worth your effort!

See that purdy ribbon?   Retiring!  That’s right!   The 1 1/4″ striped ribbon is da bomb—but some of the colors are going into ribbon retirement…..and Old Olive is one of them.   I cut the ribbon in half and then just pull off some fibers to get this size and this look…..and the ribbon goes twice as far!    If you want to check out what else is retiring, check out my website .
The card is an “explosion card”! Exciting , eh? If you are in any of my clubs, you are doing a similar card this month. If you are not in a club (yet) and want some info on it or on the card, just let me know.

If you have a golfer in your life, you have 9 days to get this stamp before it is gone forever!!!! Give me a call…..I will commiserate with you AND order you the stamp!
