Creepy or Cute?

How do YOU like your Halloween decorations?
While we were away on Girls’ Weekend, we went to our *Usually* favorite store in Newburyport, MA called Flukes and Finds. Usually you do find something there you love and didn’t know you needed.
Well–this time of year, they get DECKED out—and I mean it!—for Halloween. There are bats and crows and skeletons everywhere in that store. WHile I wandered around the store, I stumbled upon the scariest doll ever! The tag (which I didn’t get close enough to read) said “well loved”—right!!! I am pretty sure her cracked head came from being thrown down the stairs. This doll was right up there with Chuckie as far as creepiness! …..and she was only $10! I know this because my unusually cruel sister BOUGHT it! She proceeded to torment us all with this creepy doll–which she named “Rosemary” (I believe!) all weekend….and I have a feeling more is to come!
I prefer my Halloween decorations to be CUTE! Here is a sample of a little card I whipped up using the Frightful Sight DSP and the owl from the hostess set in the Holiday Mini:

Check out this little guy close up—he has Dazzling Diamonds on his mask!

I just colored in his little treat bag with Cajun Craze to match the paper and voila–he is done! Oh–and don’t you think I cut out that little bird! Nope—that is a punch—-and OWL punch! Can you stand it! It was so easy to whip up this card, I think I might make a bunch and send them out to friends and family who DON’T torment me with creepy dolls!!
