For those of you who don’t recognize that title, it was from an Irish Spring commercial from the 70s, I think. It must have been a good ad campaign because here it is 35 years later and I am still quoting it..
I think the best ad campaign of ALL time had to be “I’d like to teach the world to sing…..in perfect harmony!” Go ahead—sing it loud—You know you want to! And for those of you who don’t know what I am talking about again, here is a sample:
While I say it was the best ad campaign ever—I don’t buy Coke–I am a Pepsi girl…..so I guess having a memorable ad doesn’t translate to buying their product.
But I digress!
I started out here trying to show you a “manly” card and the next thing you know, I have you singing old Coke commercials—loudly!
Ok–so here is my card:
This card uses the new “Take It To Heart” stamp set. This is the smallest image in the set and I think it has a Scandinavian look to it. Maybe Amish look to it? I don’t know but I do know that when I matched it with the Well Worn DSP, it came out sort of “manly”. The background is the Woodgrain stamp.
Sometime you just have to mess around with a stamp set for a while to get it to do what you want it to do.
