EASY Masculine Card

Standard

I think if we had to be honest, we would all admit that making a “Manly” card is not an easy….or frankly, rewarding thing to do.   We just can’t stop unless there is some ribbon or glitter lurking somewhere on the card.   So when I see a card that makes me happy and IS a “manly” card, I case it (“Copy and Steal Everything”).   This card is  almost a direct case from the sweet and talented Patsy Waggoner.  (You can see her original card here.)  She had a couple more bells and whistles but I liked the simple, vintage look of this here.    What do you think?:

Ok–I know there are bows but they are manly bows made with linen thread!   This is Parker’s Patterns DSP (available in the Occasions  Catalog from Stampin’ Up!) but nearly any designer paper would work.  I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch for the triangles on the banner but you could also cut out triangles if you wanted.     I stamped the ferris wheel from Feeling Sentimental  (SaleABration 2013) “decaf” (stamp off) using the Soft Suede ink.      Easy Peasy!  Thanks Patsy!

NOW–If you don’t have this stamp set, you better get your order together!  It is FREE with a $50 order but only until March 22nd (that is a week from Friday!).  Give me a holler–happy to help you out!

Stamps:  Feeling Sentimental

Paper and ink:  Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Naturals Ivory, Parker’s Patterns, Soft Suede.

Other:  Petite Pennants Builder Punch, Linen Thread
