Storybook Friends Club Card!

All products Stampin’ Up!

Last month, my clubs made this card….well, not THIS one but one like it using the Storybook Friends stamp set and the Storytime DSP (The stamp set will be in the new catalog but the DSP is retiring—-2 more weeks—-don’t miss out!).   LOVE both the set and the DSP —Such a warm, vintage look to both.  It is a little tough to tell from this one but the duck lifts up and that is where you put your message.  Let me show you some other samples—You might get the idea of how it opens easier:

(You can click on any of the above photos for a larger version).

(This dog just makes you smile!!!   and I don’t even like cats….but I like this card~~Go figure!  This bunny makes a wonderful new baby card!)

Seem like a project you’d like to make??   WELL, I have new clubs forming soon.  So hope you consider joining us.  Just contact me and I would be happy to send you info about both the local and long-distant clubs forming.

  1. Hi Betty, I’m loving the look of this & see so many variations – what are the dimensions of the DSP piece of this design? I’ve been playing with it trying to figure it out & I can’t seem to come up with a dimension that’s working. Thanks! Kathy

  2. Hey Betty, Just “blew this up” & can see that it’s not folded over, but laid on top – I think I can make it work:) kathy BTW, are your “stamped by” stamps old ones? I LOVE them! I notice in the new catalog they are not going forward:( Kathy

  3. Kathy,
I started with 4 x 3 dsp. Scored 1″ on the long side….then made a little “peak” The 1″ scored part goes under the naturals white piece. Adhere the scallop with a dimensional just on the top. Clear as mud? Let me know how it goes.
