Ok–back from vacation. Can I just say you MUST go to Quebec City! Put it on your bucket list! “You will enjoy”!~~Side note: One of our tour guides in Quebec used this phrase and I decided I was going to start using it too—-Perhaps it was his cute French accent, or his cute looks, or the fact the view WAS gorgeous, but maybe, just maybe it was the suggestion…..or command–“You WILL enjoy” that worked. I have been using it on my teens this week. So far–they aren’t buying it when it comes to Summer Math!
Ok–so speaking of Bucket Lists, Stampin’ Up! introduced this new stamp set called Spread the Joy which was designed by a Stampin’ Up! employee….and not an employee who gets paid to design stamps…..this was a REGULAR employee! I LOVE the simplicity of this set and the greetings are perfect. I had to have it right away. BUT–it is sort of a hidden gem…..No one seems to know about it as it isn’t in the catalog. It is a special “limited time” stamp set. I have taken it upon myself to be the personal ambassador for this set (you are welcome!).
Here is the set:
If you click on it , you will see a larger version so you can read the text on these stamps and, then, you will see why you need this set!
I have played around (briefly) with the set and here is a card to share with you today….
“You will enjoy”!
Get it? “Spread the Joy”….and it is jelly??? Actually—it is Elegant Eggplant and Rich Razzleberry—both “full strength” and “decaf” (stamped off once). I used the Gorgeous Grunge set (that should be in everyone’s stamp collection—even Ellen’s (wink, wink!) to make the “mess”.
This card is based on a simple design I found over at Clean and Simple Challenges, a site I often turn to for a starting point. Here was the original sketch:
Well, that is just the beginning of what you can do with this set. Stay tuned for more samples ….after all, what kind of an ambassador would I be with just one sample?!
