Remember the Grunge!

Standard

Ok–I know it has been a week and I apologize.  In any case, I am back.  I know you have been wondering how the Men Make Dinner Day went here.   Much like the Men DON’T Make Dinner days!  It was a good thought….and I will definitely take a rain check on that one.

Before I forget, click here to see this weeks specials.  If you are a club member,  I have sent you your codes for ordering, If not, please use Hostess code:  QWUXNZUB which will qualify you for some free goodies from me.

Now–the other day, I was waiting for the oven repair man who was to arrive between” 8-12″.  I couldn’t really be in my “lab” as that is the basement and I can’t hear anything down there….which is generally a good thing….but not when waiting for a repair man.  So I had to hang upstairs….and I had no internet….because the internet repairman was coming between 3-5 pm!   I couldn’t really go anywhere and I couldn’t clean the kitchen floor (which would be my go-to chore this week if I had extra time) because the oven guy was due….
any minute!….but he didn’t show up until 12:20!  SO—after I had done everything I could do (laundry, vacuuming, etc, etc,), I decided it was time for a pinterest project….but I had no internet to check the specifics.  Luckily, I had a project pinned that required no measurements…and really, no directions.   THAT is my kind of project!   So here is what I did while I waited for the oven guy:

I know that the window frame is not done yet….but that is minor.  At least the little kids next store can’t see me when they are running by….and I didn’t have to sew or measure a thing!  Laaaaaaaaaaa (That is the sound of the craft lab angels singing!).  This has been on my list of things to do for a long time ….and thanks to the oven repair guy, it is now done!

Speaking of done, let me show you an update on my stamp room—which is NOT done!  Here is a photo of the progress made over the back of my desk.  My dad put up a peg board and I have (sort of) organized it with the tools I use most:

Ok—I am purposefully not showing you the entire desk top as it is less than organized at this point.  I am on a mission today to make a BUNCH of cards that I need to drop off tomorrow!  Which means, they should have been done yesterday!

SO—before I bid you adieu, I will leave you with one simple–less than conventional Christmas card:blognov14

I was just messing around with a design an it just wasn’t working…and then I remembered the Grunge!!!!   Gogeous Grunge can save nearly anything!   I apologize for the crooked photo….No excuses!
