I don’t want to tease you!

If you haven’t been living under a craft rock (I am sure there is a Pinterest Board for “Craft Rocks”), I know that YOU know that there are a bunch of new great products on their way from Stampin’ Up!   But you can’t get them yet and I think it is just cruel to tease you by showing you what you can’t have.  I have raised two children and I know teasing can only lead to no good.  So today, I am going to show you something you CAN have—but only for a couple more weeks!

I fell in love with the Happy Congratulations stamp set in the Occasions catalog the minute I saw it.   I wasn’t really sure what I would do with it but sometimes, you just hafta have it!  And so I did.  And you can see some of my previous posts here and here.   You can customize your card for any event by switching up the color combo—Use pastels and it is a baby shower card/invite.   Change the colors to match your high school or college colors and you have a graduation card/invite.  Use the new incolors and you have a Catalog Kick Off card/invite (SHHHHHHH!).

Today, I wanted to use up some outgoing DSP ( Gingham Garden) for an envelope liner in a card for my sister’s birthday so that is where my color combo (Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight) came from:

At this point, decide on your greeting.  Actually—I should have done this WAY before I did all the work of stamping, punching, and placing lanterns…..just in case something went wrong when stamping the greeting.   You KNOW it could…and does happen!  But today was a good day and it was fine.

To finish it off, I wanted to add a little “somethin’ somethin'” so I made a couple of bows and adhered them on.

Here is my sister’s birthday card.  ” Practically perfect”…..just like her!

 Stamp Sets:   Happy Congratulations, Wetlands

Ink and Paper:   Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Staz On Black, Melon Mambo, Gingham Garden

Other:  3/4″ punch (The good folks at SU don’t want you cutting out all those circles!, 1/8″ Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by.  Let me know if there is anything I can get for you!  Happy to help out!
