Today is the day!

Standard

“Occasions, Occasions, Occasions!”

Did you ever do that “Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit” thing on the first day of the month?   You are supposed to say those 3 words the first thing on the first day of the month for luck.   Don’t know if it works but I do it!   Today, I woke up saying “Occasions, Occasions, Occasions”!   Today is the first day of the new Occasions catalog AND the new SaleABration Catalog!!!   That means, not only can you order new stuff but you can get free stuff for ordering new stuff!! *

(* Free SAB product with each $50 order through the end of March)

Stampin’ Up! has come out with this new FANTASTIC (dare I say, my favorite set from the new catalog?!?) stamp set called Sheltering Tree.   It can be used for any season and the “accessories” to the tree are wonderful.   Here is one of many cards I will post featuring this set:

blog jan7.2015

The greeting I used here is from another set called Hello Life.   There are sweet greetings that come with the Sheltering Tree set but I really wanted something swirly and miminalistic (I think that is not really a word but you get the idea!).

There is really not much to tell you about here–  the heart is a punch and I just used a Real Red marker and straight edge to “hang it” from the tree adding a little dimensional for ….dimension!

Let me know if you need any supplies or have any questions about this card and/or Stampin’ Up!

Stamp sets:   Sheltering Tree, Hello Life

Ink and paper:   Early Espresso, Soft Sky, Real Red, Whisper White

Other:  Itty Bitty Punch Pack (for the heart punch), Dimensionals.
