53 Days Until Spring!

Standard

Just remember–53 days from now, this will all be a distant memory!

Remember last week when they predicted this “big” storm on Saturday? We got all worked up, shopped and re-arranged our lives…..and we survived it.  Then–just about when we were done cleaning up that baby storm, they told us–hold onto your hats!  We  have a whopper of a storm coming!    I am so hoping it is  more hype…  Afterall, I haven’t seen one meteorologist wearing a sweater—and we all know (at least those of us who are middle aged!) that is isn’t a real storm until the weatherman is wearing a sweater!

So–Today–I am going to post a card of what things are like in my head!:

blog jan 2015.3Lovely, right??

This new stamp set , Sheltering Tree, is SO versatile!   Several years ago, Stampin’ Up! had this stamp set called Branch Out.  If you missed out on that set, here is your chance–don’t miss out on this one!   You will be able to make everything from birthday cards for guys to Christmas cards.   This is, hands down, my favorite set in the new Occasions catalog!

Tip:  Stamp your “blossoms” several times without re-inking.  That will give you lots of depth of color.  The very last layer I did was with White Craft ink.  Difficult to tell from the photo but it softens the “blossoms” a bit.

Please, please, contact me should you need anything or have any questions at all.

Stamp set:  Sheltering Tree

Ink and paper:   Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Pear Pizzazz, Craft White ink

I hope while you are hunkering down, you get some chance to craft something…something springy!
