I have been away for a few days focusing on family and didn’t get a chance to sit down and really look at the recently announced retiring list for Stampin’ Up! products. Last night, I sat with my catalog and highlighted all the products leaving. It would have been funny to video me —I kept going, “No way!” and “Really?”. As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, we become attached to products that we use regularly or that we made a project that we loved or was well received. There are some on this list that you NEED–I am not kidding.
But it is that time of year. Time to say good-bye to our Stampin’ Up! products that have served us long and well and hello to some new ones. That said–there is still time! Check out the list below to see what you need before you can’t get them any longer.
Once you have made your list, head on over to my store here and place your order right away. These products are selling out so don’t miss out. There is nothing worse than a sad stamper! Don’t let that be you!
Today is February 16th which means were are half way through Sale A Bration! Not only that, but it means that there are BRAND NEW freebies you can get your hands on starting today. Check them out below:
How do I get my hands on them? Just order $50 worth of Stampin’ Up! products here and choose the freebie you want. Want them all–order $150 worth of goodies and pick them all. But not only that, if you have a $150 order, you are a “Party of One!”. That means you get even more stuff for free with your hostess benefits. (Stampin’ Up! does not judge “Parties of One!R”–Even parties of one need their own hostess!)
BUT–if you are going down that route, you probably have even more you want to get. Why not get the ultimate stampin’ bundle, get $155 worth of products for $99 (and NO shipping!)?? You then become a member of my team (and will be among some of the most talent, kind and FUN people I know!) AND can continue to purchase your goodies at a discount!

Sorry I have been away. I ended up with a cold I just couldn’t shake and some things had to give. You will be happy to know that housekeeping was the first to go. And then un-decorating from the holidays (I know–don’t judge!)….and THEN posting things for you.
BUT–I am back. Quick post about the easiest–and cheapest card ever!
~Stamp Greeting on an angle—No need to worry about being straight and accurate.
~ Cut strips of your designer paper at various widths (accuracy not important).
~Glue down under your greeting at approximately the same angle (accuracy not really important).
~Adhere two more strips of the paper, abutting up next to the first one (will look accurate). Just trim off the excess.
~Using “green glue” (Tombo Multipurpose Glue) will give you a little wiggle time to move the paper until you are satisfied.
~Pop up (“demonsionalize”) a stamped and punched image to finish off. EASY!
Now–the cheap part:
~This card was made using a free stamp set (Hello) and free paper (Wildflower Fields) ~~BOTH FREE during Sale a Bration for orders of $50+. (Click here to see everything you can get for FREE!)
That is the good news–the bad new is that the HELLO stamp set is only available until February 15th. But back to the good news—-it is FREE!!!
Visit my website here for more details.
Here is one more:
While you are there, check out what is on sale this week:
Thanks for stopping by. Now–about that un-decorating……
Today I was inspired by the latest Global Design Project Challenge. I have just recently found this challenge site. They have such great designs! You should check it out. In any case, here is the current challenge:
Easy enough to work with, right? I wanted to pull out some “old” stuff and combine it with some “new ” stuff and here is what I came up with:
The Something for Baby stamp set and framelits , Something to Say stamp set (currently on SALE!), and Elegant Dots embossing folder are all available in the annual catalog. The “new” is this soft, delicate paper from the Love Blossoms paper pack (Occasions catalog) .
I have told you before that I don’t like to have left over designer paper. I am on a mission to use it all up so I won’t feel guilty buying new paper. We always save the paper……WHY??? USE IT UP! I feel that if someone gives birth, they, for sure, deserve a lined envelope. Wouldn’t you agree?? And what a great way to use up your designer paper! Check it out:
(I know what you are thinking….”Did she take that photo on the floor?”. YES–please don’t judge me. I am having a trying day!).

Check out the Global Design Challenge site yourself and let me know what YOU come up with! Check out my website here for any supplies you might need.
Thanks for stopping by.
Do you remember watching Rudolph as a kid? Remember the scene when Sam (?) the snowman starts singing Silver and Gold? Do you remember getting up to get a snack? It is not a bad song—and there is NOTHING wrong with Silver OR Gold….but it is, admittedly one of the most boring parts of that show!
In any case, today, Stampin’ Up? has released a new batch of deals for this week and it includes–Silver and Gold! These really are some fantastic products and will be great for your holiday crafting. The Gold Glimmer Paper—So very sparkly!!! You can’t go wrong. And the Silver Glitter…..stunning!! Pair it with any of the blues….or white and you have got yourself one gorgeous …..craft(Not sure what you are making with it but it will be BEAUTIFUL!).
My other favorite on this list is the Vanilla Satin Ribbon. It will be a perfect match with the new retro feel designer paper that you can get….starting on September 1st!!!! What ??? You don;’t have a catalog yet??? Let me fix that! Leave me a comment below and I will get one to you!
Stop by my “store” here for all of your Stampin’ Up! needs.
And good luck getting that Silver and Gold song out of your head now!
